Quanto vale il premio Oscar come migliore attore?
Quanto guadagnano i vincitori di un Premio Oscar? Assolutamente nulla, indipendentemente dalla categoria nella quale trionfano. Di fatto non c’è alcun corrispettivo in denaro per la vittoria dell’Oscar, ma solo tanta visibilità.
Oltretutto è impossibile ricavare ingenti somme dalla vendita della statuetta. Come si legge nel regolamento ufficiale infatti, chiunque vinca un Oscar, anche come miglior attore, deve firmare un accordo in cui è prevista una regola stabilita nel 1951 dall’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, la quale specifica la non rivendita dell’onorificenza.
Tuttavia l’Academy ha la possibilità di riacquistare la statuetta, al prezzo però di un dollaro. E vale anche per gli eredi del vincitore: “I vincitori non possono vendere o disporre in altro modo della statuetta dell’Oscar, né permettere che venga venduta o smaltita per legge, senza prima offrire di venderla all’Accademia per la somma di $1.00. Questa disposizione si applica anche agli eredi e ai cessionari dei vincitori del premio d’Oscar che possono acquisire una statuetta in dono o per lascito“.
